Infrared inspections with a FLIR camera enables a powerful noninvasive method to monitor and diagnose the condition of buildings. Quickly identifies problems in areas that cannot be seen with the naked eye-eliminating destructive probing methods. Results are captured and documented instantly by photographs.

Thermography is the use of an infrared imaging and measurement camera to "see" and "measure" thermal energy emitted from an object. Thermal or infrared energy is light that is not visible to the human eye: it's part of the electromagnetic spectrum that we preceive as heat. Everthing gives off infrared, even ice cubes! The higher the objects temperature, the greater the IR radiation emitted. This is how heat loss, water damage, hot breakers, and lack of insulation are detected. All without disturbing the walls!

This is something that is available with an additional cost. This equipment cost us $10,000+ and is very technologically proficient. Therefore it will not be used in our regular home inspections. Please call us for more information or to schedule an Infrared Inspection!
